We produced the brand film for SHUTTLE 1963, the new brand from Watanabe Pile Weaving, a company that has supported Imabari’s towel industry since 1963 through high-quality, warm craftsmanship. Under the message “At the peak of mastering towels, we found our origin,” the film focuses on the unique texture of shuttle looms—unattainable with modern mass-production machines—and the meticulous handwork of skilled artisans. Time-lapse inspired sequences and macro shots capturing the finest details of threads and weaving delicately portray the intertwining of technique and passion. Through the now-rare looms and the craftsmen who face them, the film conveys the spirit of true craftsmanship preserved for over 60 years.

Daito Trust Construction constructs roughly 90% of its buildings in wood, making it the largest user of timber as a structural material in Japan. Leveraging this responsibility and affinity, the group launched its first biomass power generation business. Using offcuts from construction and underutilized domestic timber as fuel, the initiative contributes to the sustainable circulation of forest resources, revitalization of the forestry industry, and decarbonized management in line with RE100 goals.
This video was produced against the backdrop of a power plant M&A to support recruitment for the Plant Manager position. Through on-site footage and interviews, it conveys the responsibility and fulfillment of those directly engaged in circulating resources and driving the supply of renewable energy.
